About Erik
Erik Bergström has spent 14 years navigating financial markets and learning how they actually work. He's not someone who got into trading education because he found some magic formula — quite the opposite. His journey started in 2010 at a Stockholm-based investment firm, where he spent five years developing risk assessment models and studying market behavior patterns.
What he noticed during those years was a persistent gap: traders were desperate for real, honest education about how markets work, but most of what they found was either oversimplified or dressed up with unrealistic promises. So in 2016, he made the move to Tra-Ding AB and started building something different. Over the past eight years, he's developed comprehensive frameworks for understanding technical indicators, market signals, and their interpretation — always emphasizing education over outcome prediction.
Erik holds a Master's degree in Finance from Stockholm School of Economics. But more importantly, he's spent nearly a decade proving that traders don't need hype or false promises. They need clarity. They need to understand why things work the way they do. That's what his work is about.

Trading education shouldn't promise outcomes. It should explain mechanics. When traders understand why a moving average works the way it does, or what RSI actually measures, they're equipped to make better decisions. That's the difference between following a system blindly and understanding your tools.
The Nordic market has unique characteristics. Liquidity patterns, trading hours, regulatory environment — these matter. Education that ignores local context isn't useful education.
How I Work
Everything we create at Tra-Ding AB is built on research and real market observation, not speculation. I've spent years studying how markets actually behave, not how people wish they'd behave. That evidence-based approach shapes every framework we develop.
Clear communication matters as much as accurate information. Complex concepts deserve clear explanations. If you can't explain something simply, you don't understand it well enough to teach it.
